Launched a big Drupal based website yesterday for a local computer shop in Leatherhead, Surrey.
The website was originally to be built using basic flat code with a simple admin interface, but was then decided by both parties to upgrade it and build on a platform which the client could easily manage.
Drupal for the better
I chose Drupal as its so flexible and all the clients needs were met from this platform, and now being a Drupal developer I am so glad I chose it.
Clients needs
The client wanted to be able to have offers, different logos on certain pages and the ability to add more content in the site anywhere on any page without affecting the template.

- breadcrumb navigation
- seo friendly urls
- ease of adding navigation
- sub navigation
With each page created the system takes the title and makes it into a friendly url, which is great for seo and as Drupal is built for search engines its ahead of the game in this compared to other platforms like Joomla! and Wordpress.
